Foundation Piles
Foundations are exposed in 2-meter intervals in the affected area. Holes are then core drilled through the foundation and into the underlain soil (1.5 meters). Grout is pressure pumped into these holes, filling voids, infiltrating the soil and compacting the weak soil. This stabilizes the soil and creates additional bearing capacity to the foundations. Additional stages can be repeated to achieve deeper depths. This process is a better alternative to conventional underpinning.
