By Design was established in 2006. We are principally a consulting structural engineering practice based in Stellenbosch but are involved in projects nationwide as well as the greater Africa. We also developed a “Building Stabilization” arm that undertake injection grouting projects to stabilise foundations and subsided surface beds.

By Design is a member of the South African Steel Institute and the South African Light Steel Frame Association (SASFA) as well as the South African Institute of Civil Engineers (SAICE).
